The simple yet distinctive lines of this telephone will have instant appeal. It is our latest central battery instrument, giving the same high standard of efficient and reliable service as the N1365 type telephone to which it is alternative. We are confident that it will prove to be equally popular.

The same types of components are used but are rearranged to conform with the new shape of the moulded case. The latter has pleasingly rounded contours and a removable instruction plate which can be replaced by an automatic dial when necessary.

Accessibility for maintenance is a feature of the design, as all the internal equipment is mounted on the baseplate and can be removed as a unit from the case, to which it is attached by four captive screws.

The ringer is inside the set and the baseplate is perforated below the gongs to ensure audibility of the signals.

A standard B.P.O. type handset is supplied. A high level of efficiency in transmission and reception is therefore assured, while the design of the cradle and the plunger mechanism minimises the risk of faulty operation through careless handling

The line wires are attached to screw terminals in a moulded Bakelite case connected to the telephone by a flexible cord.

For conversion to automatic, it is necessary merely to add a dial, dial cord and dial terminal block and to cut and connect existing wire loops.

Dimensions: 9 x 7 x 5 inches.
Weight 4.1 lb.

Note - This instrument is not designed to accommodate a directory tray.

Supplied in Black, Chinese Red, Jade Green, Mother of Pearl and Ivory.
