This instrument of moulded Bakelite has been specially arranged and adapted for use in hotels, factories, offices, shops and for domestic purposes where a simple two-way telephone circuit with modern high-grade instruments is required.
By using a system of code ringing more than two stations can be connected to a circuit. Fitted with a DC bell.
For fixing to a wall, a bracket N8531 is supplied.

Effectively an intercom telephone that can use local or central batteries.
