Magneto Wall Switchboards
Cordless
N 506 shown
These switchboards are extremely simple, reliable and give maximum
efficiency. They are known as the "Pyramid" type on account of the design formed
by the arrangement of the keys.
The woodwork is matt polished and the metal parts of the apparatus are nickel-plated.
The drop type indicators serve for both calling and clearing purposes.
All connections are made by means of keys. The bottom row connect the extensions to the
operating telephone, and the remaining rows connect the extensions, indicated on the key
top, together. Engaged lines are recognized by the engraved numerals on the key tops being
slightly turned to the left. The illustration shows extensions 3 and 6 connected together,
and extension 4 connected to the operating instrument.
A night bell and switch are provided, but a separate magneto telephone instrument is required for operating purposes.
