Hand combinations came in a variety of models, all similar in design but with different
specifications:-
1. Handset without battery key fitted with "Magnet" transmitter horn mouthpiece,
"ring" receiver, ebonite handle and four wire flexible cord.
2. As above but with battery key
3. As 1 & 2 but with suspension ring on receiver.
4. As 1 & 2 but with Morse or double contact battery key.
5. As 3 but fitted with Electro-magnetic receiver.

Operators breastplate transmitter and head gear receiver outfit comprising:-
Solid back transmitter in aluminium case, with ebonite mouthpiece with ball and socket
joint, mounted on aluminium breastplate with suspending straps and fastening clip.
Double pole headgear receiver with four conductor flexible cords and four way plug.
Two model were available:-
1. Local battery version
2. Central battery version
Cost in 1928 was £4.7.0
The Bellset used on many GEC telephones was similar to the PO
Bellset No. 1 except that the induction coil was missing. This gave acceptable
transmission on PAX and intercom systems.
