Peel Conner Electro-Magneto Central Battery Telephone

As K8140 but without transmitter arm.  Fitted with 1000 ohm polarised call bell and PO type long distance solid back transmitter.

Made by Peel-Conner and constructed of polished walnut with external metal parts being oxidised.

This set could also be obtained in an enamelled steel case with a knuckle joint. The part number was K8145.
