This is a small
exchange having maximum capacity of 10 lines. The use of relays for all
switching operations, in a unit of this size, gives a simple and compact
apparatus. A hinged plate which carries the relays can be swung forward to
disclose line and power terminals. These terminals are of the screw
type. The apparatus is wall mounted and telephones are connected by twin
conductor cable if an suitable earth connection is available or triple conductor
if not.
