PROGRAMMING RING GROUPS
Ring groups can be programmed in following manner:
| Option 1 - Call Forwarding type | Exchange line date S2 first byte = 00 |
| One extension rings only | S2 second byte = extn port |
| Option 2 - Call Forwarding type | Exchange line data S2 first byte = 01 |
| First extension rings for a predetermined time and then the second extension rings until the call is answered. | S2 second byte = extn port a S2 third byte = extension port b |
| Option 3 - Call Forwarding type | Exchange line data S2 first byte = 02 |
| Extension a rings for a predetermined time and then extension b rings for a predetermined time after this the call will ring at the first port (11) and step through all the ports until the last port (16 or 32) is reached. | S2 second byte = extn port a S2 third byte = extension port b |
| Option 4 - Call Forwarding type | Exchange line data S2 first byte = 03 |
| Extension a rings for a predetermined time and then extension b rings for a predetermined time after this the call will search for the first free extension starting at the first port (11) and stop once a free extension is found. | S2 second byte = extn port a S2 third byte = extension port b |
| Option 5 - Call Forwarding type | Exchange line data S2 first byte = 11 |
| Group call (up to four extensions all ringing at the same time | S2 second and third byte unused Group is programmed on a per line basis in Group Call section |
