The ‘‘Sterling” Automatic Reply and Call System has been designed for cases where it is not desirable or convenient to use a Central Station Annunciator Switchboard. It. is, generally speaking, most useful where the Principal wishes to call all the outer offices, and vice versa.

Any inter-communication Telephone illustrated on pages 23 to 26 may be used as the Central Station, or Principal’s, Instrument, but when ordering state: “ For C.B. Reply and Call System.”

The advantages of the “ Reply and Call” System are numerous, but the following may be specially noted:

1. No Indicators are required.
2. The Central Instrument is very neat and compact and can stand on a Principal’s Desk.
3. All Local Batteries entirely dispensed with.
4. No Switches required at the Side Stations.
5. Simplicity of operation.
