TELEPHONE No. 27


Originally called the "Telephone, G.B. incomplete, House for S.R. it was later renamed as the Telephone No. 27.

Telephones in Pairs
These instruments were for use in lieu of a speaking tube between two rooms only. For this service in Post Offices a stock of Telephones, G.B., Incomplete, House, for Single Receiver (in conjunction with two Receivers, Bell (Telephone No. 27); two "Bells, Trembler, House, 2.5''; and one Battery, 2-cell Leclanche, No. 1, C.Z.), is available, and should be joined up on the principle shown in the diagram below.
