PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS

BT NAVIGATOR


RING MAP
1. Press & release the HOLD key (whilst handset Down) All LED's that light (bell sounds)
2. To change state of LED press line keys
3. When finished press HOLD again

OFF-HOOK ANSWER
1. Press and release the CONF key (whilst handset down) Lines to be answered off-hook. LED's glow
2. To change state of LED press line keys
3. When finished press CONF again

PROGRAMMED FROM TERMINAL 1
EARTH LOOP OR TIMED BREAK RECALL

1. Handset on hook
2. Press Recall
3. Press Extn buttons I-4-5-8 LED's that are lit give TBR, LED's not lit give Earth recall
4. To change state of LED press line keys
5. When finished programming as required repress Recall

INCOMING RING INTERVAL
1. Handset on Hook
2. Press Recall
3. Press Extn buttons 2-3-6-7 LED's that are lit-long ring (manual ring), LED's not lit-short ring (Auto)
4. To change state of LED press line keys
5. When finished programming as required repress Recall

CONFERENCE
1. Place Exchange line in hold
2. Call second terminal
3. First terminal presses CONF button
OR
1. Press CONF key
2. Call second terminal As soon as second terminal answers conference is set up

PROG LONGEST CALL WAITING FACILITY
Programmed from terminal 1
1. Do NOT lift handset
2. Press RECALL
3. Press EXTN keys 7-2-I-9, Lit LED's indicate that line is in the longest waiting list
4. To change press the appropriate line key
5. When finished press RECALL or lift handset

ANSWER LONGEST WAITING CALL
Default value all lines are in the list for longest call waiting
To answer longest call
1. Lift handset & press HOLD - This feature will not work with off-hook answer

CONFERENCE CALLS
Can now be with any number of extensions
To bring another extension into the conference:-
1. Press CONF
2. Press extension key for the extension you wish to bring in

RINGING DETECT INTERVAL
The longest setting (normally for manual ring) has been changed from 20 seconds to 120 seconds. PSTN remains at 3 seconds
To change the incoming ring interval:-
1. With the handset on-hook press RECALL
2. Press Extension keys 2-3-6-7, LED's that are lit-long ring [manual ring),
LED's not lit-short ring (auto)
3. To change state of LED press line keys
4. When finished programming as required repress Recall

TIMED BREAK RECALL LENGTH
16 settings are available starting at 77.7ms & increasing in multiples of 77.7ms to a maximum of 1.243 seconds

TIMED BREAK RECALL DURATION

Programmed from Terminal 1
1. Press RECALL
2. Press EXTN keys 5-6-4-7 - TBR now set to default
The first eight exchange line keys and the first eight extension keys correspond to one of sixteen settings
Exchange line 1 = 77.7ms
Exchange line 2 = 155.4 ms etc
Extension 8 = 1.243 seconds
When completed press RECALL
