There are two separate vehicles shown here, both are BMC Laird 4-5 ton lorries fitted with hydraulic cranes. The first three photographs show a basic raising and turning winch fitted crane, whilst the last photograph shows the more common Hiab type hydraulic crane, which was capable of more accurately placing loads.
