A Maudslay Mogul 6 ton dropside lorry used by the Supplies
Division. When this vehicle was new, the Maudslay Company had already been
taken over by AEC, but the cab style is totally Maudslay, though it might
conceivably been fitted with an AEC engine. The small “M” motif at the
foot of the radiator covers an aperture for the starting handle, though it would
be a brave man who tried to start a diesel engine by hand.
