Over 2,500 of these Bedford utilities were bought as an alternative to the very noisy Morris 420FM utility vehicles. The upper vehicle has a Tidd group body whilst the lower picture has a TK with a different manufacturers body; note the different roof profile. The large gap between the vehicle cab and body was to allow mechanics access to the engine which was situated under and behind the drivers seat.
