WINDOWS 95

To see which version of DOS you are using the usual method of determination is to type VER at the DOS prompt.
This will give you an obvious indication unless you are using Windows 95.

To find out a Windows 95 version type right click MY COMPUTER and chose PROPERTIES. The dialogue box that appears displays this number along with the version of Internet Explorer 4, if it is used.
OSR2.1 can be identified by looking in the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS list in CONTROL PANEL. There would be an entry called USB SUPPLEMENT TO OSR2.
