ANSWERING & RECORDING MACHINE No. 202A (Robin)

APPROVAL NUMBER: S/l060/3/F/450813

The Answering and Recording Machine No. 202A, sales name Robin, is mains powered from a Plug-Top Transformer and can be interrogated locally by pressing the message key or remotely by responding with speech or silence to tone signals given from the machine after listening to the announcement. All machines use an identical code. Details of the code and method of remote interrogation are given in the User Guide.

The machine has to be set in the correct sequence to answer calls. Should the mains supply fail when the machine is set to "ANSWER" it will not automatically restore to the ANSWER mode after restoration of the mains supply. The machine has to be manually reset by moving the Slide Switch to "AT HOME" then back to "ANSWER".

Both the outgoing announcement and the incoming message have a maximum duration of three minutes.
