Some of these were produced for the BPO, the Telephone No. 706.

The dial has chaplets.

Model L.11710A1 - GPO Telephone No. 706L, Yellow.  The press button was fitted during installation.
Model L.11710A1 - GPO Telephone No. 706L, Black.  !959 models were fitted with a Dial No. 12.
