Introduced circa 1970 this telephone had the new DMS-2 dial fitted.

The 802 had a ringer volume control on the base plate.

How to convert to work on the UK plug and socket system

  1. Remove and discard the original Australian line cord.
  2. Red of line cord to terminal B.
  3. White of line cord to terminal A.
  4. Connect a 3.3k resistor between terminals A and P1.
  5. Remove link S1 - GS4.
  6. Blue of line cord to GS4.
  7. The green of the line cord is unused and should be insulated with tape.
