Box, Coin Collecting No. 16A and No. 16C were fitted in subscribers' coin-box installations in C.B.S. and magneto exchange areas. These BCC's were provided with a plain black front (Box, C.C., Front, No. 2) containing a refund cup. There are no A or B buttons associated with the BCC No. 16, as the call is under complete control of the operator who instructs the user when to insert the coins. The cash box is removed from the front and is secured by the lower lock. The upper lock secures the mechanism cover. The customer is given a key for the cash box and it was their responsibility to empty the cash out. A Label No. 306 could be fitted under the denomination plate with advise for users. See also BCC No's 16A and 16B for more details. The BCC No. 16A connects to a 12 way terminal block mounted on the coin box case. The Mechanism is wired to the Bellset with a 12" piece of IRV PVC3 wire cable. The hole for button "B" was also blanked off. The BCC No. 16C used with an internal Bellset No. 34, which was fitted inside the case. The Mechanism is wired to the Bellset with a 12" piece of IRV PVC3 wire cable. The hole for button "B" was also blanked off. This coin box used the Mechanism No. 16.
