The Digital Voice DECT handsets have the ability to store contact names and numbers, but please beware that this information is stored on the Smart Hub and not on the phone. This causes a problem if you either change or default the Smart Hub as the stored information will be lost. This page describes how to backup the contact information. If you have had to replace or reset your Smart Hub, you can restore your saved contacts by:-
This method also lets you add your Google Contacts to your Smart Hub, so you can access contacts from your Android phone on your Digital Voice phone. Go to https://contacts.google.com in your PC browser, click the Export arrow in the top-right corner and select 'vCard (tar iOS Contacts') - even though it's for Android. Click 'Export' to save a VCF file then import it into your BT Smart Hub Manager. To export contacts from your iPhone, sign into iCloud in your -browser and choose Contacts, then Export vCard'.
