Moneymate
The most recent addition to the renters payphone range, the Moneymate is a plastic cased, wall-mounted payphone which can be plugged into an ordinary telephone line - it does not require exchange based meter pulsing equipment. It is aimed at businesses particularly in the leisure and catering industries.

Main facilities offered are:-

  • Full inland and international direct dialling.
  • It is convertible to an ordinary telephone via a keyswitch.
  • Access to 41X codes e.g. 142, 192 can be programmed but no access to the 100 operator except in ordinary telephone mode.
  • Visual display of time remaining and prompt to the user.
  • Takes 5p, l0p, 20p and 50p coins.
  • Refunds wholly unused coins.
  • Cashbox holds 200 coins when full.
  • The payphone is programmable

Engineering name - Coin Telephone No. 28A.
Marketing name - Moneymate.
