Dynamotor No. 1

Ringing dynamotor, without interrupter attachment, for C.B.S. and Magneto exchanges.

Input:- 105v D.C. (1/6H.P).

Output:- 0.2 amp, 75v A.C. at 16.66 c/s.

Requires a Switch, Tumbler No. 5 for starting purposes.

Dynamotor No. 19

This set was used for charging secondary cells and consisted of a Dynamotor of the protected type having 2 bearings, with an iron wire compensator and a panel to consist of black-enamelled slate of not loss than 1in. in thickness. Iron brackets were provided for fixing the panel 6in. from a wall.  The panel was equipped with an ammeter, starting switch and a double pole fused switch.

For providing H.V. supply to the valves in Units, Amplifying, Nos. 10 and 13.  Fully enclosed in a metal case.

For use at overhaul centres for testing teleprinter motors.

Input:- D.C.

Output: 3 amp, 110v, D.C.

Dynamotor No. 22

This Dynamotor is a rotating protected machine that converts direct current to single phase alternating current at 50 c/s and approximately the same voltage as the input over the range 200-250 volts for supplying power to amplifiers operating loudspeakers, telephones etc. The machine is continuous rated to provide an output of 180 watts and is fitted with a frequency governor and a radio interference suppression device. The machine is resilient mounted on a wooden base designed to stand on the floor and has a removable cover which forms a soundproof enclosure.

Includes a Plug No. 2402.

Output:- 0.75 amp, 200-250v, at 50 c/s.

This is part of the Oscillator No. 61A, which consists of a Dynamotor No. 38A "Walter Jones type No. 10820" with one output transformer and controls to match the output to line impedances of 10, 100, 200, 500 and 1000 ohms.

Three outputs, 1pps, 2pps and 5pps.

Input:- 22-25v D.C. (18 Watts).

Output:- 1000c/s (2 Watts).
