Type AE 200 Intermediate Table Telephone for 2 Earth or Metallic Circuits FRAMEWORK. The base and sides of this telephone are made of black enamelled steel, and the top plate is of ebonised pear-tree wood to match. MICRO-TELEPHONE. RE 1004, with cord RS 6010, resting on a cradle switch, with flexible cable RS 9635 and terminal block with disc protector. GENERATOR. RH 4501, 4-magnet, which rings satisfactorily through a line resistance of 25,000 ohms. RINGER. 1000 ohms resistance. TWO-WAY SWITCH. If required, and without extra cost, this telephone can be supplied with the framework enamelled and polished to match walnut. The intermediate station can communicate with either of the extensions, depending upon the position of the switch. A signal given by either of the extensions will ring the intermediate telephone independently of the position of the switch. The two extension lines can communicate with each other providing the micro-telephone on the intermediate station is on the hook. The conversation can in no case be overheard.
