MICRO-TELEPHONE. RE 1004, with cord RS 6010, resting on a cradle switch, flexible cable RS 9800 (Old No. 2429). GENERATOR. RH 4501, 4-magnet, which rings satisfactorily through a line resistance of 25,000 ohms. RINGER. 300 ohms resistance. SWITCH. Three-way. WALL FITTING. RA 122, with framework of black enamelled steel, with 1000 ohm ringer and disc protector, for two earth or metallic circuits. The terminals are all enclosed. The intermediate station can communicate with either of the two extension stations depending upon the position of the switch. A signal given by one of the extension stations will ring either the intermediate or other extension station, depending upon the position of the switch, which under normal conditions should be in the right or left-hand position. A signal coming from the respective extension station will ring the intermediate station only. When the switch is in the central position, the two extension stations can communicate with each other, without being overheard by the intermediate station.
