Iron cased telephone for Automatic systems

DBT 1101
This device is intended to be placed in damp premises, mines etc. It is also suitable for outdoor installation.

It is similar to the DBT 1001, but is fitted with a dial.

The device is built into a black lacquered cast iron cabinet with door, which opens with a handle. A front room in the cast iron cabinet contains the microphone with suspension device, and a rear compartment, which is waterproof, contains the other parts of the device assembled on a removable insert. The microphone is fixed between two chrome-plated metal supports. It is equipped with a rubber cord, which through a screw connection with gasket is connected to a terminal block, which only becomes accessible when the top cover inside the appliance is opened.

The cables are inserted into the device from below through cable screw connections with gaskets. The device's terminals become accessible, then the lower cover inside the appliance has been opened. The device contains no ringer.  Suitable ringers, which can be ordered separately, are KLA 6204, KLA 6304 and KLA 6404.
