EXTRACTOR No. 29
The Extractor No. 29 is a rubber suction cup that was used to remove the dial label protective cover on Dials, Automatic No. 21 to No. 54.

If an Extractor No. 29 is not available a piece of Sellotape can be fixed across the protective cover, with both ends of the tape looped back and joined.  The loop back forms a handle which can then be pulled and this will generally release the cover.
