Peel Conner was a subsidiary of GEC and produced telephones and switchboards
firstly in Salford, Manchester and then in Stoke, Coventry. Years of
operation were 1908 to 1923. In 1923 the company was liquidated and all products were then produced under the GEC name. Peel Conner and GEC seemed to pretend that they were two completely different companies and the Peel Conner catalogues hardly ever mentioned any association or ownership by GEC. Their catalogue/code numbers for Peel Conner telephones were just numbers, whilst some parts were prefixed with a letter.
