The Hicom 100 series telephones above are (from left to right) Directory Keystation, Expansion Module (used with Directory Keystation), DSS unit (used with Executive Keystation), Standard Keystation and Executive Keystation.
The Siemens (Germany) made Hicom 125 and 130 are stored programme controlled key telephone systems utilising micro processor control, A law digital signalling (4 wire) and analogue speech transmission.

The Hicom 130 CCU is floor standing whilst the Hicom 125 CCU is wall mounted (Hicom 125 pictured to the left). In both cases the MDF is wall mounted.

The 130 can be equipped for a maximum of 30 trunks and 128 extensions, whilst the 125 has a maximum capacity of 30 trunks and 64 extensions. The extensions can be special Hicom keysets and use 4 wires (set 151 or 191 may be used). POTS may also be fitted without the necessity for special cards.

A UPS may be installed inside the cabinet of a 125 or 130 system.

Hicom 125 power consumption = 250 watts.
Hicom 130 power consumption = 360 watts.

ISDN 30 may be provided but in cases where the network provider will supply a DASS2 link then an EDG box (converter DASS2 - ISDN 30) will have to be fitted on an adjacent wall.

Both systems can be programmed from the first extension or via a PC using software called PCSATDIG .
