IBM 3750
The 3750 addressed the problems of dual maintenance, that was introduced on the 27SS and was compliant with the evolving BPO requirements for SPC PABX's.  The first 3750's were jointly maintained in the same way as the 27SS, but in 1976 the BPO took over the first line maintenance of the complete PABX.
