This is a 332 style telephone with no drawer.

The telephone will have a Dial No. 24C which is identifiable as the finger stop is NOT located next the digit 0.

The base has four rubber feet (button style) and air vents on either side.  It is secured by four screws, one in each corner.

Conversion Information for Plug and Socket working in the UK
This UK conversion information refers to the ITI 332 (see below) with 13 terminals and the large cylindrical capacitor.  Converted phones should not be connected to any network provider in the UK.  The old line cord is discarded and a new style line cord with a plug at one end and spade terminals the other, is installed.

  1. Remove the existing line cord from terminals 6 & 8.
  2. Remove the metal link between terminals 5 and 6.
  3. Insert a 3.3k resistor between terminals 5 and 6.
  4. Link terminals 8 and 9 together.
  5. Check that terminals 11 and 12 are linked.
  6. Connect the red of the new line cord to terminal 8.
  7. Connect the white of the new line cord to terminal 6.
  8. Disconnect the orange wire from the capacitor.
  9. Connect the orange wire to the new blue line cord spade and insulate.
  10. Insulate the green wire of the new line cord - it is not connected to anything.
  11. Connect a rectifier element across terminals 1 and 2.
