KEYSENDER No. 6

The Keysender No. 6 is an electrical keysender intended primarily for use at multiple PBXs.  It is operated by relays and contains a Vibrator, Keysender No. 6.

It has a capacity of eight digits, and if it is necessary to send numbers containing more than eight digits (e.g., for STD calls) the sender must be taken into use a second time while still connected to the circuit concerned. After a portion of the number (e.g., the code for the exchange) has been keyed and sent the sender should be re-engaged by key operation and the remaining digits keyed and sent. This method gives a total capacity of sixteen digits.
