Application
For lifting poles between 5in. and 10in. diameter.
General description
This item is a scissor-type pole grab incorporating the "Somers" automatic
operate and release mechanism designed for lifting poles.
It is suitable for use with fixed and mobile cranes, hoists, cat-heads and
fork-lift trucks equipped with jib attachment.
The appliance has a safe working load of 10cwt.

Remarks
Contamination of the hands and clothing of handling personnel with creosote from
telephone poles is reduced to a minimum.
