Application
For removing water that unavoidably collects in manholes, joint boxes etc.

General description
The unit consists of a self-priming centrifugal pump driven by an air cooled, 4-stroke petrol engine mounted on base plates and enclosed by an all-welded tubular steel framework.

The framework as well as providing adequate protection for the pump unit provides an easy and convenient means of carrying the set.

The unit is resiliently mounted on four rubber feet to prevent creep down road cambers when the pump is running.

The pump is capable of delivering 2000 gallons per hour at a suction head of 20ft., delivery head nil. The engine is provided with an efficient silencer which is attached to the set, it is provided with a screwed end for attaching a flexible exhaust pipe.

A tubular container welded to the framework accommodates a set of running and maintenance instructions.

Each pump is supplied with two 15ft. lengths of hose and a strainer.

A slow-running lever is fitted on the engine to allow seepage to be dealt with economically.

The engine is started by means of a pulley rope, the pulley being provided with a hinged protective cover.
