Application
For removing water from manholes over a depth of 25ft. when the normal type of
centrifugal pump is unsuitable.
General description
The pump is powered by an air compressor and is capable of delivering 5000
gallons per hour at a suction head of 48ft. when supplied with 45 cu. ft./min.
of air at a pressure of 80-100 lb./sq. in. The base of the pump incorporates a
strainer capable of entering the sump in a manhole floor. Standard 3/4in. B.S.P.
air hoses and 2in. B.S.P. water hoses are employed. The pump is lowered into the
water by means of the air and water hoses attached to the pump.
