STAIR-TRUCK (EXPERIMENTAL)

Application
The device is similar to the conventional sack truck but is provided with rubber crawler tracks instead of trolley wheels for moving loads over uneven ground, kerbs and steps as well as over level ground.

General description
The model will accommodate loads up to 500lbs., and is normally used by one man. Assistance may be required for moving loads up and down stairs or steps.

With the track mechanism in the closed position the appliance functions as an ordinary sack truck. In shifting the track mechanism to the open position the rubber crawler tracks are brought into full operation for moving a load on stairs, uneven ground, etc. Brakes can be applied separately to each track for controlling a loaded truck down steps, and the brakes can also be locked in the operated position.

Capital Cost
Approx. £30.

Remarks
The device is experimental.
