This meter used on for subscriber metering in main telephone exchanges.
It is a totals meter and
cannot be reset. It is a 5 digit type. The cover has a red coloured plate, at the front, that can be reversed so it covers the counter window. This was done when the meter was not in service or required for billing purposes. It has a make contact and the coil is 2.3k ohms in resistance. This meter supersedes the Meter No. 101A.
