Comprises - Hand Combination Transmitter and Receiver, Cord, Automatic Switch-hook, Induction Coil, Lightning Arrester, Magneto Generator, Bell, and Writing Tablet.

The frame-work of this instrument is made of iron, the use of wood being entirely avoided.  It is intended principally for use in tropical climates, with the special object of withstanding the ravages of ants, and other destructive insects, and although made of heavy material it has a light and exceedingly ornate appearance.

The batteries are fitted away from the instrument.
