![]() WALL SET Pattern No. B63 Comprises - Granular Carbon Transmitter, Watch Receiver, Cord, Automatic Switch-hook, Induction Coil, Bell, Ringing Keys and Selector for 10 lines with plug and cord. This is a neat, and simple form of apparatus for providing telephone intercommunication between several stations without the employment of a Central Switchboard. To obtain communication the plug has to be placed in the hole corresponding with the number wanted. The person is then "rung up" by pressing the spring directly above the plug and conversation can at once be carried. At the same time, other persons connected with the installation can similarly intercommunicate through their telephones. After the conversation is finished the plug is withdrawn, and the user and his correspondent are at liberty to make any other connection. The apparatus shown is arranged for ten stations, but this number may be increased. Taken from the 1903 Catalogue. |
