By using Pattern No. B665 calls can be made each way, for instance, dining room to kitchen, and kitchen to dining room, when it has previously been possible to ring both ways (i.e., where at least three connecting line-wires already exist), whereas in the case of Pattern No. B660, calls can only he made one way, i.e., say dining room to kitchen.

The Hand Micro-Telephone is fitted with a special ringing key in the handle.
