OSCILLATOR No. 99A and 99B


Oscillator No. 99A
Oscillator No. 99A is a 1 kHz Transistor Oscillator.  The Oscillator is housed in a metal case and is normally carried in a Satchel No. 5A.

The Oscillator is operated from a 9.0 V supply obtained from two Batteries Dry No. 29, it provides a 1kHz tone source of 0.5 watt into 200 ohms and has been designed for use with the Amplifier No. 109B for Cable track locating.

Frequency: 1 Kc/s.

Output: 0.5W.

Used with a Satchel No. 5A.

Part of a Tester No. 212A.

This is the same s[specification as the No. 99A, but is size reduced.  It is powered by six Cells, Dry No. 6 which are fitted in a Battery, Unit No. 5A.
