When a conviction has been secured in any neighbourhood where damage due to the throwing of stones is prevalent, printed bills giving particulars of the conviction should be displayed on "Boards for Stone-throwing Bills." These boards should be attached to the poles at a height not less than 8 ft. from the ground, and the bills should be treated with size, and varnished, so as to protect them from the effects of the weather. 4. Copies of such notices should be distributed to schools in neighbourhoods where convictions are obtained, and they should also be displayed in the windows or on the notice boards at Post Offices in the same localities. 5.
