The KX-T123210 was a larger version of the KX-T61610, the major difference being  that it could accept expansion cards.

The basic configuration was 6+16 but when fully populated it could support 12 lines and 32 extension telephones.

This system has card slots for extensions and exchange line cards and the cables were connected by 25 pair Amphenol connectors.

Panasonic refers to these as an Electronic Modular Switching System.
