The Panasonic VB old GX version is an LD only Keysystem. Lines cannot be grouped and
there is no call transfer, therefore 0 line button phones cannot be used. The new GX
handsets will work on the old GX systems, except LCD screens and the dual coloured LED's
on telephones. DSS consoles cannot be fitted on the GX 616.
The new GX is marketed as the GEC Reliance Keysystem and is an LD/MF Keysystem with dual
coloured LED's on every terminal. LCD terminals have to be programmed.
