Introduced circa 1913.
In general a No. 2 lamp with a carbon filament will have no
filament support,
but a metal filament will have a filament support.
The moulded base is coloured, to identify the rated
voltage.

Originally supplied in the voltages 22v, 40v and 55v.
Later supplied at 50v, 10watt.

Lamps No. 9
A Festoon style lamp, rated at 10w for Lamp, Fitting, Misc 3729, with
Opal shade.
These were used at the Dorchester Hotel and installed above doors in
the corridors. The light was operated by a button on the room
telephone set.
Voltage - 40v.
Colours - Blue, green and red.

No. 1.
Voltages - 25v and 50v.
