PRESS BUTTON UNIT No. SA4259


These press button units were produced for PABX DC Code C signalling systems.  They used the PBU No. 3D as the keypad.

These would require a telephone to operate and the Telephone No. 713 would normally have been used.  The wiring diagram when used with Telephone No. 713 - SA4259.

Each telephone must be supplied with a signalling earth connection.

Correct line polarity must be observed.
 

Push Button Unit 1/SA4259
This model was fitted under a desk, but close to the front edge.  The keypad section would be pulled out and then locked in the open position by pressing the front downwards.  Lifting the front of the keypad allowed it to return by the assistance of a spring.
