Old style is shown to the top.  If fitted with a lamp, the earlier plugs used to get very hot - so beware of fitting a lamp!

Plug No. 244A 2 pole Krone plug used for testing.

Bridges contacts instead of breaking them in strips connections.

This is a NATO plug.

Superseded by the Plug No. 420.

Plug No. 420 Plastic covered 4 way plug, universally used by the BPO.

The plug has a frusto-conical shaped tip, contact rings separated by insulators along the barrel, screw on cover and cable retention feature. For use with Jacks No. 84 and 95.

Black, Grey and Ivory.

Introduced Circa 1957 and superseded the Plug No. 418.

Size - 54mm x 21mm.

Lastly manufactured by Astralux.
