INTERCOMMUNICATION TELEPHONES
Automatic replacement - Metallic Circuits

(Table Pattern)

F1072

F1071 to F1079
Battery Inter-communication Telephone, Table Pattern, in polished Walnut Case; comprising self-replacing press-button Line-Selectors, Hand-Microtelephone, Battery Bell, Automatic Switch Cradle, 3ft. of Multiple Flexible Cord and Wall Rosette.

These instruments are arranged to operate with a common ringing battery, a dry cell being installed in the transmitter circuit of each  instrument for speaking purposes. By means of this arrangement, and using the metallic circuit type telephone cable throughout the installation, immunity from cross-talk is secured.

The press button line-selectors are so arranged that after removal of the hand-Microtelephone from the cradle switch, any number of press buttons may be depressed simultaneously, permitting a general call to be sent to the stations selected; thus directions may be given to a number of persons at the same time.

All selectors are replaced automatically when the hand-micro-telephone is returned to the rest.
