Slimtel


Slimtel (Telephone Handset No. 1A)
The original Slimtel introduced in 1984.  When the phone is laying on it's back or in the wall holster two projections on the back of the phone are depressed.  These are the switch hooks.

Pictured, is the later version with a front switch, which defeats the switch hooks and allows the phone to remain on a surface whilst the number is dialed.

  • Mute

  • Could be wall mounted in a holster

Price in the early 1980's was �30, the wall holster costing �2.

The wall holster was called the Bracket, Telephone No. 50A (Off White).

 

Slimtel 10 (Telephone Handset No. 2A)
Pictured is an early version of the Slimtel 10.  The later version had a switch on front.

  • 10 indirect number memories
  • Could be wall mounted in a holster

Colours: Off White, Maroon, Red, Black and Blue.
