This instrument has been specially designed to work on the surface in conjunction with No. U 563 underground.

The woodwork is of Solid Teak and is constructed to withstand any amount of real rough handling.

Specification:
Magneto Ringing Telephone, Wall Pattern, comprising: Solid Back Granular Transmitter, Induction Coil, Double Pole Bell Receiver (British Post Office Pattern) in Enamelled Brass Case and with enclosed Terminals, very powerful 5 Magnet Generator (to ring through a line resistance of 50,000 ohms, 1000 ohm Polarised Bell, Removable Automatic Switch Hook, Lightning Arrester and Terminals for Extension Bell.

Metal Parts are Nickel Plated.

Magneto Wall Telephone similar to above but mounted in Polished Teak Backboard, with Battery Box for two No. 2 Leclanche Cells.
