This instrument has been specially designed to work on the surface in conjunction with No. U 563 underground.

Magneto Ringing Telephone, Wall Pattern, comprising: Solid Back Granular Transmitter, Induction Coil, Double Pole Bell Receiver (British Post Office Pattern) in Enamelled Brass Case and with enclosed Terminals, very powerful 5 Magnet Generator (to ring through a line resistance of 50,000ohms, 1000ohm Polarised Bell, Removable Automatic Switch Hook, Lightning Arrester and Terminals for Extension Bell.

Metal Parts are Nickel Plated.
