These new patterns take the place of, and are an improvement on our "ERA" Automatic Interphones.

No. U 440
The New "Era" Automatic Interphone Wall telephone, Comprising:-
Standard pattern Hand Combination (No. U 175), Automatic Switch Cradle, Induction Coil, Call bell, Combined Ringing Key and Self Replacing Line Selector, each Lever fitted with a Silver Spring which ensures a strong rubbing contact.

The woodwork is of solid Walnut.

Selecting and Ringing are performed at one operation. When the lever of the line selected is pulled down, it auto­matically causes the bell of the instrument at the other end to ring. After conversation is finished, the act of replacing the Hand-Combination allows the lever automatically to resume its normal position.

Available in 5, 10, 16, 20 or 30 lines.

The New "Era" Automatic Interphone Table Telephone, comprising:-
The same parts as No. U 440, but with a Buzzer instead of a bell and with the addition of Multiple Flexible Cord and Wall Rosette.

Available in 5, 10, 16, 20 or 30 lines.
