Long Distance Battery Ringing Mining Set, comprising:
Telephone No. U 566 as above, mounted on Painted Oak Backboard, with best quality Waterproof Relay No. S 6161 (40 ohms) and Gas and Watertight Diaphragm Bell, No. S 6007a, fitted with 6 in. Bell-metal Gong.

This set is recommended for use over distances exceeding 300 yards.

Relays of higher resistances for long Distances can be fitted if required.

NOTE: If the above is required for use as a Signalling Instrument and also to answer as a Receiving Station for Portable Telephone No. U 571 , mention of this must he made on the order.
